DESCRIPTION:The rate of suicide and suicide attempts for Black youth has increased in recent years. As of 2018\, suicide became the second leading cause of death in Black children aged 10-14\, and the third leading cause of death in Black adolescents aged 15-19* \n1M4 can not ignore this data. As a woman of color\, there is an added layer we cannot ignore\, the pain inflicted on our community can be taxing. Dr. Daphne Chambers-Harris will have a candid discussion with Tansy about advocacy and mental health.
