Beyond The Call: National Virtual Screening & Conversation on Alternative Response

Join 1 Million Madly Motivated Moms (1M4), the City of Cambridge CARE Team, and AMSA for a national virtual screening of Beyond The Call, a documentary exploring how Cambridge, Massachusetts developed a community-centered alternative response program designed to support people experiencing mental health and behavioral health crises.

This virtual watch party and live conversation will highlight the real-world development of the CARE Team, the challenges of building non-police crisis response systems, and the opportunities communities have to rethink public safety through care-centered approaches.

Following the screening, attendees will hear directly from CARE Team leaders, public safety professionals, and community advocates during a live discussion and Q&A.
