Not us saying goodbye to 2025…
This year was filled with highs, lows, and everything in between—new policies, bold movements, and pop culture moments that shaped how we see our communities and ourselves.
These final moments of the year offer a chance to reflect on what you carried this year, released, and want to step into next. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out. Just an opportunity to move forward with intention.
Intentions are > resolutions. Can we get an ‘Amen?’
We remain focused on building care-centered crisis response, emotional and financial support, and mental health resources for Black communities without fear of criminalization.
And with our year-end match, every gift made by midnight is doubled, helping expand the Right Response directory, support families impacted by police violence, and fuel this work into 2026.
If you’re able, consider making a year-end, tax-deductible gift and finishing the year grounded, generous, and giving to support the future you want for yourself and loved ones.
“What I will say is that what I’ve learned for myself is that I don’t have to be anybody else and that myself is good enough; and that when I am being true to that self, then I can avail myself to extraordinary things. You have to allow for the impossible to be possible.“
— Lupita Nyong’o

Your Expertise is Needed!
We’re completely revamping The Right Response Directory and need your input to ensure it meets our community’s needs.
This critical resource connects you to alternative first-response programs offering compassionate support through peer responders, clinicians, and trained EMTs for calls like welfare checks, noise complaints, traffic incidents, and mental health crises.
Your feedback is vital for us to improve. Please take a few minutes to complete our confidential survey. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
A Mental Health Tip For You
The end of the year can bring reflection and sometimes pressure.
Take a few minutes to journal or list three things you accomplished this year, no matter how small.
Pair that with one intention for 2026. ONE. This simple exercise helps you honor your growth, release what no longer serves you, and step into the new year with clarity.
Spread Some Blessings!
The consequences of police violence extend far beyond the loss of life. For families affected, it’s the loss of income, the sacrifice of basic necessities, and the start of a high-cost legal fight. If you have the capacity, consider donating to 1M4. Proceeds help support impacted families and sustain the work of 1M4 toward ending police violence for good.
