As a supporter of 1M4, you know more than anyone that we are “mad” about more than just police violence.
It’s violence period.
And if you’ve been watching and/or monitoring the latest stats, news reports and stories coming out on gun violence…you’re probably just as enraged as I am. Which is why we’re using this Sista Check-In to open up with each other and have a real convo.
From what we’re seeing, gun violence/crime is on the rise (relative to last year) and while we believe it’s because people are now pouring back outside after the lockdown into communities that weren’t given the necessary resources, others seem to think it’s rising because police officers are retiring.
